Everyone urges
successful life and they want to be happy as well. While everyone may have an
individual understanding to put success over happiness or happiness over
success, the overarching desire to lead a life free of stress, concern,
anxiety and fear are constant.
We typically invest
more time steeped in negative emotions than positive ones. We just do not
appear to be able to overcome the tension involved with daily problems from our
families, our finances, our jobs, our wellbeing, and our ambitions.
Above all of that with
our expectations and aspirations for the future and the endless struggles we
encounter along the way when attempting to do something important, and it's no
wonder we waste a lot of our time feeling depressed and unsuccessful. So
how is it that we do the reverse?
What are the keys to
success and happiness? Is it attainable in life?
Going through immense
failure and pain is normal, I have also been through many failures, struggles,
and pain in life and everyone did. Trust me this is NORMAL. If
anything is abnormal; it is you
letting yourself down, as you encounter failure or you sitting aside and crying
because you cannot achieve a certain target. Letting yourself down
won’t help you; this will just waste your time.
For example,
a child who is in class 8th and he have his exams, the first paper is of math
and he did not practice it and so his test went wrong, that whole day he was
crying for not giving his best in the exam and because of this, his next day
science test also went wrong. Now if we look back when only the math exam went
wrong if the child rather than crying started studying for the next paper, then
he may not fail the science exam. Because of letting yourself down, you
may lose many opportunities that are waiting for you, which may change your
life.
What does it mean to
be happy and successful?
There are two separate
aspects when we are concerned about happiness and success. It doesn't often
align with what makes an individual feel happy and what makes a person feel
successful. Yes, they do occasionally. The thing about happiness and success is
that you first ought to get a concept of what they represent to you to
attain any of these or both.
Some people would
think, "Yeah that's simple, I need a ton of money to be
successful." Well, in the happiness department, that wouldn't
help either. Although what people don't know is that not always money offer
happiness. Anyway, you have to describe what the two mean to you. Want to be
happy? No issue. Probably at this very moment, you might be happy. Happiness is
attainable right here and right now, no matter what happens in your life.
For Example, A girl, who wants to be a writer, may earn
less while initiating her career and may suffer many failures, but she will be
happy because she chose what she wanted to be. Writing makes her happy, so she
will try hard and hard to be successful. This may vary from person to person, as
everyone has a different meaning of happiness and success.
These Are Some Keys To
Be Successful and Happy:
1.
Gratitude: Gratitude precedes peace and prosperity. We ought to excel
happily, instead of pretending to be happy. Success does not bring happiness.
Happiness should bread success. When we are satisfied and we do everything we
enjoy in life, it becomes a byproduct of success. But good things never arrive
because our life depends on our success. It also depends on focus, what
are we focused on in life? What do we want the most? And what are the reasons
for focusing on and wanting those things?
- Be Present: There's nothing about being trapped up in the past, or continuously thinking about the future that hurts the current moment more than that. But once again, all of us are having difficulty being present clearly. We are not in a place to enjoy the here and now. Typically we’re more concerned about what's going to happen tomorrow, or what happened yesterday, rather than stopping that and be in present.
- Manage Time Effectively: The ability to handle time efficiently is one practice that can affect both your happiness and your overall success in life. Successful time planners have a grip on their life-long
responsibilities and know how to manage stuff and keep moving forward. They concentrate on their long-term ambitions and emphasize the tasks that can help them succeed rather than put them behind.
- Set SMARTER Goals: Mostly, what prevents us from reaching success in life is our failure to set goals the incorrect way. It has been established in a recent survey that just 8% of people who set New Year's Eve goals are successfully meeting them. But beyond such New Year's goals itself, we all realize so certain people sometimes set goals, but they don't achieve them. When you set SMARTER goals, you’re setting Specific (S),
Meaningful (M), Achievable (A), Relevant (R), and Time-Based (T) goals that are Evaluated (E), and the approach is Re-Adjusted (R) until you succeed. This is an important process in the success recipe and people who don’t follow along find goal achievement far more difficult.
- Empowering Morning Routine: It all starts and finishes with a morning routine. What you are doing in the morning will set the tone for the rest of the day. It determines the life result. If you want to feel happier and effective, develop a series of morning routines to help you encourage that in your life. The best mix of day-in and day-out performed practices will make all the difference. “The early bird catches the worm”.
- Prioritizing Your Work: Firstly make a list of things you want to do or achieve, and then prioritized them. This will help you to attain your SMARTER goal, as you will work according to most prioritize things. This may also increase your chance to become more successful.
- Focus on Health and Wellbeing: Health and wellness are integral aspects of the blueprint for happiness and success, and one of the most significant keys of attaining both. If we do stuff that damages ourselves by consuming too much, drinking alcohol, consuming illegal drugs, and the like, it has a harmful impact not just on our bodies but also on our brains. If your brain and body are not in the right state then how will you work for your goals and how will you be happy? One research showed that pattern forming requires 18 to 254 days to form somewhere for an average of 66 days to solidify, so bear that in mind. It can take time, whether you are attempting to leave a bad habit or develop a healthy one. Don't get discouraged because it doesn't happen instantly.
At last but not least, I want to tell you that do what makes you happy and satisfied. Satisfaction is the key to success. Most people only get success if they are happy. If you have everything but still you are not happy, you will never succeed. However, if you have little things that make you happy then you will get success. Always remember to describe what happiness and success mean to YOU.
