  Dream Come True The first thing after reading this topic comes to my mind, was what does dream means to you??? Biggest Question….   A collection of feelings, images, or emotions that occur while sleeping.   OR   A much-desired goal or purpose.   OR   Anything appealing to the wish: IDEAL.   So these are some goggled definition of DREAM.   But what actually dreams means, it’s still a question.   Sigmund Freud says:    He assumed dreams unconsciously exposed problems or desires that had been repressed. According to Freud, visions are images of a childhood desire or impulse that has been repressed ever since. Therefore Freud studied dreaming in order to understand the unconscious mind. Therefore your visions show to you your repressed desires, according to Freud.    Do you know that why do we see dreams?   Dreaming happens during the sleep period of the RE...

Gender Role Equality

 What is Gender???

Gender is the set of features that pertain to masculinity and femininity and separate them.

What is equality???

The condition of justice, especially in terms of citizenship, freedoms, or opportunities. 

What is Gender Equality???

The state of equitable access to services and opportunities, irrespective of gender, including economic engagement and decision making; and the state of equitable recognition of diverse attitudes, preferences, and requirements, regardless of sex.

What are some gender roles that are well defined for males and females???

Male

Female

Males are strong

 Nurturing

Powerful

Polite in nature

Males can be aggressive

Does household chores

Can work in any field

Care giver

Leader, Superior, Provider

Inferior

 

These are some roles that are well defined by societies….

DO WE NEED TO AGREE ON THESE “ROLES”  

No! I don’t think that we should agree on these so-called well-defined roles because time has been changed, people are engaging is evolving.

Now men also understand that house chores are not only for women, women can also study and get jobs and work for the betterment of their career.

Here are some examples of women working in different platforms:

  • In 1948, Pakistan's first lady Begum Ra'ana took the lead in initiating the Women's Voluntary Service in 1948 to support the medical and logistics for Pakistan Armed Forces participating in the 1947 Indo-Pakistan War.
  • In 2015, then-Brigadier Nigar Johar became the first female officer to get a command post and in 2017, she became the Army's third female major general.
  • The first professional nurse in the history of Islam is a woman named Rufaidah bint Sa'ad, also known as Rufaida Al-Aslamia
  • Shukriya Khanum, who was the first Pakistani woman to obtain a commercial pilot's license.
  • In 2013, Ayesha Farooq became the first and only Pakistani female fighter pilot after topping the final exams to qualify.
  • Helena Saeed has become the first female Additional Inspector General (Addl IG) of Police in Pakistan.
                     

If women can work in every sector and still perform household chores then why not men can do household chores……..

                                          
                                                    

Why not teach your kids to respect everyone equally???

Why not teach boys that crying is normal regardless of gender???

Why not teach boys that they can feel pain because we all are human and we all can feel the pain it is normally completely to cry if you get hurt….

Why women always have to raise kids???

Why crying is only for girls, boys are also human and they can cry….

Why a Lady who crossed the age 30 is labeled as outdated for marriage but not men???

Why color is used to defining gender (Pink for girl and blue for boys)
